I’m not really sure if people realise now VITAL reviews are for authors. Amazon reviews are so important (but I won’t have any of those until the book is released) but Netgalley reviews give new authors a chance to judge how the book will be recieved.
Despite promising I wouldn’t look — I took a sneak peek at a few of the pre-release opinions and now I am in tears.
I’m so glad people seem to like it – and MellisaB’s review made me cry, and Kate K had me reading her review over and over again to check it was MY book she was talking about.
Readers will never know how much these kind words make a difference to us.
